Some people think cold email doesn’t work, let them think that.
Cold emails can be a goldmine for leads…
IF you do it right.
After sending 100,000+ cold emails, here's the 4-part framework that works every time..
This framework has helped us generate:
✅ 224.7K client leads
✅ $51.2M client revenue
✅ $312M client pipeline
1️⃣ Product-market fit
Your offer MUST solve a specific pain point for your ideal customer. Make it obvious.
Let's break this down:
Identify your ideal customer's biggest challenges
Tailor your product or service to address these challenges directly
Clearly communicate how your solution solves their problem
Example:
If you're selling a time-tracking software to small business owners, don't just list features. Instead, say:
"Our software helps small business owners like you save an average of 5 hours per week on payroll tasks, giving you more time to focus on growing your business."
This immediately shows how your product fits their specific need.
2️⃣ Personalization
The more personalized, the higher your engagement. Use AI tools like to automate this process.
Personalization is key to standing out in a crowded inbox. Here are some ways to personalize at scale:
Use the recipient's name and company name
Reference recent company news or achievements
Mention mutual connections or interests
Example of personalized opening:
"Hi John, I was impressed by the recent case study on XYZ Corp's website showcasing your team's innovative approach to customer retention. As someone who's also passionate about customer success..."
3️⃣ Short & direct
No fluff. Get to the point fast. Assume your prospect has a short attention span.
Tips for keeping it concise:
Aim for 3-5 sentences in your initial email
Use bullet points to break up text
Start with your most important point
Avoid industry jargon
Here's a before and after example:
Before (Too long):
"I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to reach out because I noticed that your company has been expanding rapidly in the past year, which is truly impressive. Given this growth, I thought you might be interested in learning about our cutting-edge software solution that has helped numerous businesses like yours streamline their operations and boost productivity..."
After (Short & direct):
"Congrats on your company's recent expansion. Given your growth, I thought you'd be interested in our software that:
Streamlines operations
Boosts productivity by 30%
Integrates with your existing tools
Is this something you're currently exploring?"
4️⃣ Ask questions, not for meetings
Asking for a meeting can kill the sale. Instead, ask specific questions that drive back to your offer.
Why questions work better:
They engage the prospect in a conversation
They help you gather valuable information
They're less intimidating than asking for a meeting
Examples of effective questions:
"What's your biggest challenge with [problem your product solves]?"
"On a scale of 1-10, how satisfied are you with your current [solution/process]?"
"If you could improve one thing about your [relevant business area], what would it be?"
See you next week!
